ERIN RICHEY'S WORKPLACE

July 17th we stopped off at Erin's workplace, Alpha Graphics, in Salt Lake City, where Erin is Office Manager. This is her office...and there she is! Erin's sister, Fara is their gifted graphics designer, who operates a separate office adjacent to Erin's. These sisters are great chums and workmates. They both are invaluable to the company.

There's her boss! I hear he's a great guy who really appreciates Erin's leadership.
Clark shows his ol' mom around. I am really impressed with their huge operation!
Clark and Erin make a great team...he, a computer guru, and her, an expert in printing and management. They're both outstanding!
Now we're off to see Glenn Beck. What fun! Dad and I have really enjoyed this double date.

Let's do this again!

GLENN BECK FIRESIDE

Pop, Clark and I leave the Marriot center in Provo, Utah, after enjoying a wonderfully patriotic fireside featuring Glenn Beck, nationally popular radio host and commentator. We're proud that Glenn, a passionate LDS convert, currently gathers thousands of fans across the nation who believe in the original rights as outlined by the founding fathers of the Constitution.

We stand by Angie Permann, daughter of my best friend, Cherilyn Permann,who was my roommate at BYU. Cherilyn and Merrill Permann are from Rockland, Idaho, and also work with us in Isagenix. Their daughter, Angie, a very beautiful gal, has recently returned from her mission and now teaches at the MTC.

BRENT DAVID'S BIRTHDAY PARTY

Brent David turns 44 on May 30th. Happy Birthday! Here he is with his best friend and cousin, SteVan Gates. Jolene and Lexie Gates also attended the party.
Francine and I joined in all the fun!
We gather in the basement playroom for a short memorial about the children's anscestors .

Tammy's mother, Barbara Switzer, and brother, Dan. Well, who's that? Dan and Libby have a baby boy, Eddie, named after grandpa Ed Switzer. They have great reason to be proud!
Papa huddles close to Sam, Brent David and Tammy's youngest, who's already five years old!
Preston, their oldest prepares the room for the party. Can you believe he's 17 years old already?

It was a happy family time. Taylor, who just turned 16, has always made Grandmother feel special.

MEMORIAL DAY WITH GRANDMOTHER

Memorial events this year were filled with value. Here's Jim and Maudie Mae Bradley at their home after our travels of the day. It was great that Grandmother could be with us.Mama and I are decorating Daddy's grave at Ogden City Cemetery. There are a few more spots here for family members, but I'd just as soon nobody used them right now!
This is the home that Brent grew up in as a little boy. The address is on the SW corner of Orchard and 2oth Street in Ogden, just across from the cemetery.
Brent points to the place where he got his bum stuck in a gas meter as a boy. How tramatic! It's funny what we remember all these years. Note how close the home is to the cemetery.
This is along the side of the home. Note the rear door. That's where Grandmother and Aunt Clara lived for a time as young girls while Grandma Hull was working in SLC. Those were hards times for that family, but it was a blessing to those girls to stay with LoReen and Van Heninger, who were young marrieds at that time in the early 30's. They gave them stability while Grandma Hull worked six days a week at many odd jobs, and Grandpa, John Henry Hull, was sick in the hospital in Provo.
Mama and Dad had a good time with each of their families that day.
We're decorating Van and LoReen's gravesite. Boy, we certainly miss their fun times and positive ways! They left a beautiful legacy of faith and love that I will always remember and cherish.
Lots of relatives came this year to decorate their graves.
We also remember Faralee Heninger Shupe who is also buried there.
Mama pauses to remember Daddy. He died December 24, 1987, when he was 80 years old.
Uncle Lindy was given a special stone by the families. It says, "He blessed our lives." Uncle Lindy died May 4, 2001. We were blessed to have him live with us for 10 years.
It was cloudy and rainy most of the day, but when it was time to take pictures, the sun came out and it was bright and beautiful! It makes me very happy to remember our dead and the good things that they did. WE CELEBRATE THEIR LIVES!

MAMA COMES TO VISIT

I love this shot! This mother is teaching her family about their ancester. The children were gathered in a circle and sat on the grass while she told stories about grandpa with pictures.
Florence Jacobson, YW General President of the church 1961-1972. We found her paying her respects to Hyrum Smith, her great-grandfather! Her other great-grandfather is President Heber J. Grant. Another grandfather is Joseph F. Smith.

She is 95 years old, and Grandmother is 90 years old!
She has great reason to be proud of her legacy. We learned that she was the one that convinced President Spencer W. Kimball to build the church history building. She was the curator.
Brent and I enjoy walking up to the famous "U". Such a beautiful day!

I'm always inspired to look out over the Great Salt Lake Basin and feel the same spirit the pioneers must have felt when they entered the valley.
This is where I spend a lot of my time working on music, blogs, journal, emails and banking.

We are always interested in the weather. I love "no-temperature" weather.

Sixty degrees just isn't warm enough!
The blossoms are gone now, but the leaves are all out! Plus, it's warmer now! Yeah!
